Chibi King.

I was drawing this when while listening to Q 102.1. I was trying to think of something to draw and listening to Pop, Rock, and other current hits usually helps. One word that has been popular lately kept popping into my head, "Boss". Who is a boss? The president, the governor, a king. A king! So I started sketching and going over things and this was the outcome. I really like this one because of his smile and eyes. I like the eyes because I never tried them in this particular style. And the teeth because I find it hard to draw a smiling "all-teeth" showing smile but I did it!

Chibi Winged Boy Blushing

Hey, Friends!
I drew this Chibi winged-boy when I was trying to draw a simple boy in a school uniform but it turned out like this. How about some tips?

Tip #01:  Start with simple shapes such as ovals, squares, and triangles.
Tip#02:  Sketch in the details and go over them later on with a darker color.
Tip#03: Use shading. Shading can be your best friend when it comes to drawing. I use a *stump.

* A stump is a rolled-up tube of cardboard or paper you could probably get at a craft store. I got mine from my art teacher. Rub it against what you want to blend or shade.

Here's the link to my video tutorial: Chibi winged-boy.

Drawing tips for "How to draw a chibi girl wearing a hoodie/raincoat."

A taste of my second video, "How to draw a chibi girl in a hoodie/raincoat"!
Hey friends, this is a blog entry about my second video! If anyone didn't hear in the first video or didn't watch it, 1. Watch the first video too! 2. My name is Madison! Anyways, this is a little girl (Chibi-style) wearing a hoodie or raincoat.
I drew this one in remembrance of me when I was small. Tromping in puddles! Splash! My hair plastered to my face. The hard cold breeze blowing. Whoosh! My cheeks and nose a florescent shade of red. Sniffle. Cough.
This video on how to draw a chibi girl takes you through all the steps starting with a simple circle! Enjoy!
